Sterling Vermeil Flower Salt and Pepper Shakers
JMS for Tane
Mexico
Circa 1960
A set of sterling salt and pepper shakers in the shapes of stylized flowers washed over in gold with two leaf, "S" curved stem handles. Both are nearly identical in look, except that one has no plating on the disk in the center of the flower blossom. A snug fitting canister for holding the spices is found on the back of the blossoms. Both shakers are stamped on the bottom of it's canister, TANE, Eagle Mark 32, Hecho Mexico, Sterling, 925, and JMS. Condition is excellent.
Length: 5 1/2 " and 5 3/4 "
