The silver on the Claret Pitcher is marked with Austria-Hungry marks used from 1886 to 1922 that designates the silver to be of the .800 fineness. The thumb piece is shell formed and the hole of the pouring spout is heart shaped, otherwise the silver is simple and undecorated. The crystal is in good condition with some minor chips. There are is no engraving or monograms on the silver
