Victorian, Rococo revival, sterling face screw-mounted to a frame back that is covered in a plum colored velvet; the sterling face is pierced and repousséd with scrolls, flora, cherub, putti, zephyr, and beasts, around an heart-shaped center opening; the cartouche at the top of the sterling face is monogrammed SCP, in script letters; the velvet covered back is contoured to match the sterling face; a ribbon pull-tab, on the back, releases the door and easel stand so that photos can be conveniently inserted
